Sweet Home Fire District and the Oregon Department of forestry responded to a reported brush fire in the area of hwy 228 and Cresent Hill. Four apparatus from Sweet Home fire and six from ODF found a .12 acre brush fire burning up hill in tall grass and brush. The fire was extinguished rapidly and ODF remained on scene for mop up and to complete a fire line. No civilian or Firefighter injuries occurred.
