At 921 this morning Sweet Home Fire responded to a house fire on Juniper St. The fire was well involved when the first unit arrived. The fire moved into the structure from the attached shop and carport. The occupants escaped the fire without harm. Two engines, a light rescue, and a medic unit with 15 firefighters responded initially with one engine from Lebanon Fire on a mutual aide assist. No firefighters were injured and 40% of the contents were saved. The structure was a total loss and the cause was determined an electrical fire from a outlet the freezer was plugged into. American Red Cross was on scene for assistance to the residence.
