FIREMED MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

FireMed is a voluntary membership program offered by the Sweet Home Fire & Ambulance District to provide affordable ambulance service to the community.

It is not insurance. It is an addition to any other medical benefits members may have. Your membership covers you and all family members (legal dependents) in your household, even those family members living in a local residential care facility. Membership benefits provide a 50% reduction of applicable patient out-of-pocket expenses for medically necessary ground ambulance transportation to the nearest hospital.

This map indicates which areas in Oregon offer the FireMed membership program. Participating agencies may extend member benefits when you are traveling in their area. See Terms of Agreement for more information.
